Release Notes

This page summarizes what Ozone can do today and records notable changes as they ship. Entries are grouped by tier so you can see the Ozone Data Collector (edge) and the Ozone Orchestrator (SaaS) at a glance.

2026-08​

A snapshot of the current capabilities across both tiers. This reflects the Ozone Data Collector v1.x line and the current Ozone Orchestrator console.

Ozone Data Collector​

  • Single plugin-based universal collector, so one binary handles every source through pluggable methods.
  • 63 onboarding methods spread across 10 categories.
  • 29-vendor SNMP profiles with automatic device classification.
  • Live LLDP and CDP topology discovery.
  • Full NetFlow v9 and IPFIX template decoding.
  • 11 firewall platforms with authenticated API collection.
  • Edge correlation, deduplication, and problem grouping, so noisy events collapse into a smaller set of real problems before they leave the site.
  • Capacity forecasting on collected metrics.
  • CVE and end-of-life security posture for discovered devices.
  • Synthetic probes for active reachability and service checks.
  • Over-the-air upgrades for the collector.
  • On-prem Integrations for Slack, Microsoft Teams, Webex, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Jira, and generic webhooks, delivered directly from the appliance so notifications and tickets keep working during a WAN outage.

Ozone Orchestrator​

  • Single-pane console with global search across your estate.
  • Fleet management with a device census that reports counts only, so raw device data stays on-prem.
  • Statistical anomaly detection and capacity forecasting.
  • LLM incident triage with retrieval-augmented context (Enterprise).
  • MFA, OIDC SSO, and SAML SSO (Enterprise).
  • Tiered licensing.

How to read these notes​

Each dated entry uses ### YYYY-MM and, where relevant, groups changes under Added, Changed, and Fixed. Capabilities marked Enterprise require an Enterprise license. We avoid precise build numbers here and refer to release lines generically, for example "Ozone Data Collector v1.x".
